| So to celebrate turning a quarter of a century old, I decided to get a tattoo. So here it is. Note to Self- Getting stuck repeatedly with a sharp little needle filled with ink hurts. | | |
| Have an offer to teach English in Jiangmen "be it a week, a month or a year (or more!)." Ahhh!! Brain . . .can't . . . compute . . . right . . . now . . . Just figured I'd share. Crappy time of the semester for any big decisions like this. | | |
| Yesterday saw a performance of John Rutter's Requiem. Loved it. Performed his Gloria in undergrad so I was really looking forward to this one. Except I really wanted to be in the choir and not the audience. I've realized for a while that I need to find some sort of choral outlet, but with my school schedule and a lack of a car, it's a little tricky. Plus the fact that I'm an elitist and really don't want to be part of a church choir. Mainly because it's like only being in U Chorus. *shudders* So we'll see. Have a great Easter everyone. P.S.- Please see previous post and respond. Even if it's just one thing. Thanks. | | |
| I promise this isn't as random as it may seem, but I would appreciate as much feedback as possible. To all my peeps, please fill out the following: Strengths I Have and maybe a way to develop further 1. 2. 3. Weakness to Work out and maybe a baby step to start working on it 1. 2. 3. Something you think would be obvious to me but you feel/know I tend to overlook about myself 1. All I ask is that you take this seriouly and do respond. People all have different perspectives, and the more I get the better!! Thanks in advance, have a great easter!! | | |
| During my theology orals, my professor commented on how my take on a particular methodology was very Jungian, and asked if I was familiar with him and his archetypes and I said no. When talking to a friend about it, they pointed out that Jung's theory is the basis for the Myers-Briggs. Silly me. So on that note, here's a little about dealing with the little INFP that I am! If anything, I'm sure you guys can smile and nod on some of these.
How to love an INFP: + Appreciate my uniqueness and sensitivity + Be patient and supportive listener + Respect my privacy and my need for emotional intimacy + Be reassuring and gentle in your words and actions + Try not to force decisions too quickly, or bug me about being messy. + Respect my feelings and never demand that I compromise my values
How to spot INFPs: + Idealistic with deep yet private passions + Creative and imaginative + Intially hesitant and cautious + Original, even funky dressers
How to communicate with INFPs: + Share genuine beliefs and values to establish rapport + Respect their slower warm time and need for privacy + Emphasize the ways ideas will benefit others | | |
